Services
Website services for building businesses
Eight pieces of website work, each with its own page explaining what is included, what we need from you and where the price starts. Pick one, or combine several into a full build.

The services at a glance
Each card opens the full description. Prices start at the figures on the pricing page and every job is quoted in writing before work begins.
- Builder websitesA complete site for new-build and design-and-build companies, planned around past projects.
- Search basics for contractorsA fixed-scope review of titles, structure, images and local details, with fixes made.
- Project portfoliosJob pages with photos, scope and the owner's consent, plus a template for future projects.
- Quote request formsShort forms that collect what pricing a job needs, with a clear privacy notice.
- Renovation websitesBefore and after project layouts, job-type pages and a phone-friendly enquiry path.
- Service area pagesRegional pages that rest on local projects and details, not a swapped town name.
- Trade business websitesSites for electricians, plumbers, roofers and other trades, with services and coverage stated plainly.
- Website redesignA rebuild with every old address mapped and redirected, so links and projects carry over.
One site, several pieces
A complete contractor website is mostly these pieces assembled in a sensible order. The service pages and the project portfolio carry the weight: one says what you do, the other shows that you have done it. The quote request form is where a visitor turns into an enquiry. Service area pages earn their place only when you have something specific to say about each area. Search basics sit underneath all of it.
That is why our quote for a new build reads as a list of these services with the overlaps removed. If you already have a site that works well in one area, such as a gallery you are happy with, we can leave that alone and quote only for the parts that need work.
Businesses these services suit
The services suit businesses whose sites need to show finished jobs and take requests for prices:
- residential builders, from single new builds to design-and-build firms
- renovation and alteration companies, including kitchen and bathroom specialists
- roofers, cladders, plasterers, painters and decorators
- electricians, plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers
- landscapers, fencers, deck builders and concrete contractors
- commercial fit-out and maintenance contractors
If your business sits outside that list but works the same way, the services still apply. If it does not, for example an online shop, we will say so rather than stretch a service to fit.
What every service includes
Some things come with any piece of work, whatever its size:
- a written scope, agreed before a deposit, that lists the pages and features in the job
- your own words and photos, edited with you, rather than generic filler text
- checks on a phone, with a keyboard and against the page title and description limits we use
- notes you can keep on how the work was done and how to change it later
What none of the services include is a promise about rankings, enquiries or revenue. We explain why on the contractor search basics page and in the editorial policy.
Work we turn down
We do not carry out or advise on building work, consents or building law. Where a page touches those subjects, such as licensing or the disclosure checklist for residential work, we link to the official guidance on building.govt.nz and suggest you check your wording with the relevant professional. We also do not run paid advertising or social media accounts.
Can I hire you for one service only?
Yes. Each service is priced on its own and none depends on buying another. Reworking a quote form, for example, is a small job that suits a site you are otherwise happy with.
Do you write the words for the pages?
We draft them with you. You know the jobs, the materials and the customers; we turn that into pages that read clearly. Nothing goes live until you have approved the wording.
Which service should I start with?
If you have no site, the full build. If you have a site that brings in few enquiries, look first at the quote request form and the service pages, because those are where visitors decide whether to get in touch.
Not sure which service you need?
A few lines about your business is plenty. Our reply is free and says whether we could help.
